Asparagus Green Director Anthony Hegney was invited to judge the Junior Master Chef Competition run by Kirklees College.

Students from schools across Kirklees competed in a Masterchef style cook-off with the winner being announced as Amelia Garbutt.   Amelia, aged 14. competed again some of the regions best students, producing an amazing award winning Creme Brulee!

Anthony Hegney, said “This is the second year I have judged this competition and yet again I have been astounded by the quality, passion and creativity of these youngster.  It is clear to see that even at this initial stage in their learning career I can absolutely see some top Chefs in the making”.
